Friday, March 8, 2019 - Day 8
“But your faith in God has gone forth everywhere, so that we need not say anything.” 1 Thess. 1:8
May the Lord bless you as you draw close to Him. It’s Day 8 of the Great Experiment! It’s been a wonderful experience for me and so many. Yesterday I did my Joshua Faith Challenge (part of the fifth commitment of the Great Experiment: Raise Your Faith). With friends, I went to the subway here in NYC and preached the Gospel a number of times in the subway cars. Thanks to all who prayed for me. I spoke four times and friends also came and spoke at least once each: Dimas, Chuck, Landon, Wolfgang, and Christina. I’m so glad to have the help!
It was truly an invigorating, faith-stretching experience. All of us pledged to do it again sometime soon, and other friends in New York, after hearing about it, said they want to come next time. We want the word of Christ to go everywhere!
Yours in Christ,

Here is today’s guide for the “Five Rs” of The Great Experiment, March 1-10, 2019.
1. Read and Pray
Galatians 5:14 - “For the whole law is fulfilled in one word: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’”
Read Galatians 5:1-24 for more context.
Today’s Prayer Points
- Ask the Lord to reveal more of His love to you. Meditate on the love of God.
-
Ask God to fill your heart with His love, so that you can love others—believers and non-believers—like He does.
2. Repent.
What sins do I need to repent of today? What hindrances to my devotion to Christ can I remove today?
3. Respond to the Holy Spirit.
Holy Spirit, what is the one thing you most want me to do today? (Write it down, and do it today).
4. Represent Christ.
How will I bear witness to Christ today? With whom shall I share the Gospel today?
5. Raise Your Faith.
God, give me the strength and courage to complete my Joshua Faith Challenge.
