Hi, welcome to another day of the Great Experiment, November 1-10, 2019. We're so glad that you are running alongside us towards Jesus Christ and for His glory in the U.S. We are encouraging you each day as you seek to implement the five R's of The Great Experiment and walk out in great faith, the faith of Joshua and Caleb in that generation that was coming into the promised land, who believed the purposes of God, believed there is nothing too hard for God to do. That's the kind of spirit of faith we need today. To have a spirit of faith that believes nothing's too hard for God. Even though things do not look more prone towards Christianity growing here in the US, we believe and know that God can do anything. Especially as His people, as you and I step forward in that faith and in that courage for what He's called us to do.
And I want to encourage you today to walk in persevering strength, in enduring strength. That this is just ten days in November to seek God through the Great Experiment. But much more than ten days, that every day of our lives we would be pursuing God with all of our heart, soul, mind, and strength as we should. And here's the one verse from Proverbs 24 that's a great encouragement for me and I hope will be for you, for us to not give up, but for day, after day, after day, to press in to know the Lord and make Him known. Proverbs 24:10, "If you faint in the day of adversity, your strength is small."
If you've been a Christian for any number of years, you know that there are some times, some seasons in life, some days where it's hard to hold onto your faith. It's hard to keep running after Christ. It's hard to keep that fervor and focus. But the Lord says, "If you faint in the day of adversity, your strength is small." So may God give us the strength, may He give you and me strength. So that on the days where we just feel like we're in a spiritual doldrum, where everything around us, all of our friends or church things are difficult, or whatever it might be. When these things are pressing in on you, when these things are coming around you to make it hard for you to make Christ number one, and to keep preaching the gospel, and living the gospel to your friends and family, remember this, don't faint in the day of adversity.
There are going to be hard days, there are going to be days when all this stuff comes against you, but don't give up. Don't get weary. Press through, brother. Press through, sister. Your strength will carry you through, the strength that's not yours, but it comes from Him. Be strong in the strength of our Lord Jesus Christ, and press through those hard days all the way to the end. Seek Him with your heart, soul, mind, and strength all the days of your life. May God bless you as you do so.

Here is your guide for the “Five Rs” of The Great Experiment, November 1-10, 2019.
1. Read and Pray
Spend 30 minutes every morning reading the Bible and praying, and also spend time in the evening doing the same. To intensify your devotional times, consider fasting for some of the days. We have created a daily 30-minute devotional that you can use.
2. Repent.
What sins do I need to repent of today? What hindrances to my devotion to Christ can I remove today?
3. Respond to the Holy Spirit.
Holy Spirit, what is the one thing you most want me to do today? (Write it down, and do it today).
4. Represent Christ.
How will I bear witness to Christ today? With whom shall I share the Gospel today?
5. Raise Your Faith.
Be bold and courageous in living out your faith. Choose from one of the following options for a “Joshua Faith Challenge”:
- Host an all-night prayer meeting. Set a date during November 1-10 and invite friends to come and pray with you for revival in America.
- Every day, pray for ten friends and family members to come to faith in Christ and look for opportunities to share the gospel with them.
- Share an evangelistic post on social media every day from November 1-10.
- Anything else the Lord burdens you to take on that will require courageous faith.
