Chuck Hetzler

Director

Chuck Hetzler, Ph.D. in New Testament, The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, was transformed from a reserved biblical scholar into a passionate revivalist after he joined Christian Union Universities as Teaching Fellow at Princeton University in 2008. Hunger for God and a movement of prayer and fasting led to a great work of the Spirit during his time at Princeton.

Inspired by what God had done in Princeton, Chuck took the position of Ministry Director for Christian Union New York. Next, Chuck and his growing family took ministry assignments replanting a church in Quincy, IL and then planting a new church in Manhattan, NY. Chuck has contributed to CU Day and Night since its inception in 2016 and became Director of the ministry in 2020.

Chuck’s greatest earthly blessing is his immediate and extended family, including his wife, Karen, Assistant Director of CU NY.

With pastoral care, Chuck leads individuals to seek God whole-heartedly by providing biblical resources to aid in your walk of faith, such as broadcast devotionals and prayer guides.

Watch Cuck explain, "What is revival and why should we pray for it?"
