The Great Experiment: Day 11

Here are today’s Bible reading and prayer points.

“Take care, brothers, lest there be in any of you an evil, unbelieving heart, leading you to fall away from the living God. But exhort one another every day, as long as it is called “today,” that none of you may be hardened by the deceitfulness of sin.” Hebrews 3:12–13

Read Hebrews 3:1–19 for more context.

Ask God to give you a heart of complete purity and devotion to Jesus. Ask God to rid the American Church of sin and unbelief and to establish His Church.

The “Five Rs” of The Great Experiment, October 1-31, 2018

Read & Pray. Spend 30 minutes every morning reading the Bible and praying, and also spend time in the evening doing the same.

Repent. What sins do I need to repent of today? What hindrances to my devotion to Christ can I remove today?

Respond to the Holy Spirit. Holy Spirit, what is the one thing you most want me to do today? (Write it down, and do it today).

Raise Your Faith. God, give me the strength and courage to complete my Joshua Faith Challenge.

Represent Christ. How will I bear witness to Christ today? With whom shall I share the Gospel today?

    Feel like God has made some dramatic changes in my walk with Christ and my perspective. I have had a horrible few years. 2.5 years ago my wife at the time left, and she took our children She filed for divorce within a year of leaving me. My hope is to get my children back in my life, and find a young woman who can love and respect me in a marriage-bound relationship. Those two things are painfully missing in my life. More fellowship in Christ with other believers is missing as well.
