Here are today’s Bible reading and prayer points.

“For God has not destined us for wrath, but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ, who died for us so that whether we are awake or asleep we might live with him. Therefore encourage one another and build one another up, just as you are doing.” 1 Thessalonians 5:9–11

Read 1 Thessalonians 4:9-5:28 for more context.

Pray for the upbuilding of others who are participating in the Great Experiment. Take time to pray for your friends and family who do not know the Savior.

The “Five Rs” of The Great Experiment, October 1-31, 2018

Read & Pray. Spend 30 minutes every morning reading the Bible and praying, and also spend time in the evening doing the same.

Repent. What sins do I need to repent of today? What hindrances to my devotion to Christ can I remove today?

Respond to the Holy Spirit. Holy Spirit, what is the one thing you most want me to do today? (Write it down, and do it today).

Raise Your Faith. God, give me the strength and courage to complete my Joshua Faith Challenge.

Represent Christ. How will I bear witness to Christ today? With whom shall I share the Gospel today?
